• I did not use a package manager since it could not connect and it said that it installed successfully [I used the options 'Guided-Use the largest continuous free space' and 'Automatically partition the selected free space' and installed the GRUB to my hard drive (Toshiba MQ01ABD100, 5400 rpm, 2.5-inch form factor, 1024 GB)] BUT I did not get the GRUB when I turned it back on, it went straight to Windows 10 I ran diskmgmt.msc again and the free space was still there.

I disabled Secure boot, added Legacy support, verified the checksum, and changed all the other needed BIOS settings. I really don't get what happened.
